Training Ground for Legends
The Woody Hayes Athletic Center serves as the home of Ohio State football and stands among the nation’s premier collegiate practice facilities. Dedicated in 1987 and significantly expanded in 2007, the complex combines elite performance spaces with a powerful celebration of Buckeye tradition.
Recent enhancements introduced renovated team meeting rooms, locker rooms, and equipment facilities alongside a museum-like entry experience. The northeast lobby welcomes visitors with a lighted championship wall honoring Ohio State’s national title teams, while adjacent areas showcase Big Ten and national championships, Heisman Trophy winners, and tributes to All-Americans and Academic All-Americans.
The indoor turf field supports training for football as well as baseball, softball, lacrosse, and soccer programs, and is complemented by football strength and conditioning spaces, coaching offices, meeting spaces, and dedicated player facilities.
