Marching Band
You’ll often hear the Ohio State Marching Band called The Best Damn Band in the Land. Once you see them perform, it’s easy to understand why. For generations, the band has helped shape what college marching bands look and sound like, from their dynamic formations to their unmistakable high step and fast cadence. The band's Script Ohio formation remains one of the most beloved traditions in all of college athletics.
Athletic Band
The Ohio State University Athletic Band performs at Ohio State varsity sporting events throughout the academic year. Among the highlights of the Athletic Band are marching at the annual Spring Game, and performing Script Ohio at hockey and basketball games. The Athletic Band includes all brass, woodwind and percussion instruments.
